For the past week, I’ve been running around watching New York Fashion Week Shows from backstage, learning from the spring trends, observing, meeting friends and working my regular makeup gigs. It’s been madness to say the least. One of the neatest things about Fashion Week is the events that are organized. While most events are centered on parties, cocktails and clothes, TechStyle Lounge put together a space to recharge and literally, hang out at the beautiful Bumble and Bumble space in the Meatpacking District. This event had food, healthy snacks, drinks, ice pops, samples and makeup touch ups. I went just after a job wrapped so my time was very limited, however I really enjoyed chilling and trying new stuff.
While I hanging out at TechStyle Lounge, I came across a new box service called Pinch Me. Unlike other box services, this service allows the user to discuss products for free. The Pinch Me NYFW Box was centered around most the of the necessities that one would need during fashion week, clever idea! I loved the concept, the ladies working the booth and thought it was worth sharing with my readers, lot of earth friendly items, beauty, even Band Aids. In my opinion, most of the items on the box are definite musts during fashion week frantic schedules.
